Kids to Teens

A 1 hour group lesson for all abilities to arouse the interests, physical readiness and group participation for their development into the lifelong sport of skiing. Due to age and size of participants, coaching will take place only on surface lifts at our children’s learning area.

Seven weeks on your chosen day and time. Available Saturday or Sunday, beginning January 8 or 9, 2011and ending the weekend of March 5 or 6, 2011 with a 5-hour pass beginning at either 8:30 am, 11:00 am or 1:00 pm and a 1 hour Snowsprout class beginning at 9:30 am, 12:00 pm or 2 pm each week. A 1½ hour group lesson which is an exciting introduction or a way to enhance and improve your child’s existing skiing or snowboarding abilities. This program is designed to develop and enhance the fundamental movements and skills that build confidence and develops great skiers or riders. Due to age and size of participants, coaching will begin on the surface lifts at our children’s learning area and advance to the upper mountain only if the child can ride the chairlift independently or is accompanied by a parent.

Just the thing after a hard day of hitting the books. Twilight training sessions are an exciting introduction or a way to enhance and improve your existing skiing or snowboarding skills. This program is designed to develop and enhance the fundamentals that build confidence with the integration of speed control and terrain use. 

Six sessions beginning the week of Jan. 10 - 14, 2011 and ending the week of Feb. 14, 2011on the weekday of your choice. Your pass is valid from 3 pm to 9 pm. A 1 hour training session with our experienced staff will begin at 4:15 pm or 5:30 pm. Rentals for 6 weeks, add $153.00. Pre-season pricing now in effect.

This program is specifically designed to pick up where the standard Whiz Kids program leaves off. Just as in school, the EXCEL-lerated program is for those who have a thirst for more knowledge and a more advanced skiing or snowboarding experience. Your child will work with the same team of specially trained kid-friendly coaches each week to make sure your children have FUN while LEARNING new skills! Each week's session builds upon the skills learned the week before. Training will include the use of brush gates, bumps and terrain features available on the mountain to step "outside the box" of a typical lesson experience.

Available Saturdays or Sundays for 7 weeks with two 1½ hour training sessions, one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 12:00 noon (allowing a break for lunch between). Includes lift privileges from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Program begins the weekend of January 8 and 9, 2011.

 

Are you looking to get your children interested in skiing? look no further, a new weekday program designed specifically for those children between the ages of 4 and 6. This six week program held on FRIDAYS from 12 -5 p.m. , beginning January 14, 2011 and includes the following: 
Lunch (sandwich, cookie and drink), 1 hour group ski lesson and 1 hour of tubing. Ski area lift privileges are from 12 noon - 5 p.m. Rentals for 6 weeks, add $60.00. Pre-season pricing now in effect.  Street shoes must be worn in theTubing Park, no ski boots.
