FAQ
Q; What is the new "GO WEST" card and how does it work?
A: West Mountain has updated the Ticketing System for the 2010-2011 Season. After years of using the traditional metal wicket and adhesive day tickets, we have installed a hands free, radio-frequency ticketing system.
All lift passes (skiing/boarding day passes, tubing passes, and Season Passes) are loaded on the Go West Card, which has an RFID (radio frequency identification) chip embedded in it to allow access through a turn-style entrance to the lifts. This means you will no longer have to show you ticket/pass to Ticket Checkers at every lift. You will be able to go to skiwestmountain.com and enter your Go West Card ID number to reload the Go West Card, track history, and even personalize your card.
Q: Is West Mountain open during the summer?
A: We're open year-round, offering mountain biking, hiking, a golf driving range, volleyball, horseshoes, a campfire pit and more. The West Side Grille is a full service restaurant open 7 nights a week, year round. We serve lunch on Fridays and Saturdays during the summer. Visit www.thewestsidegrille.com for menus and more information.
Q: When does West Mountain open the ski area?
